Community Tree Planting event

Join us for a Community Tree Planting event on the former Pitch and Putt site next to William Lee Memorial Park, Park Road, Calverton, NG14 6SA

This will take place on Sunday 12th February 2023.

10am – 12 noon or 1pm – 3pm

Come and plant at least one tree and help plant a new woodland to combat climate change as part of the Trees for Climate project.

Bring a spade and wear warm clothes, gloves and sturdy footwear! Everyone welcome! Terrain may be difficult for some. Please ask if unsure.

Allotments for hire at Bonner Lane and Collyer Road sites

Calverton Parish Council are pleased to announce applications are now open to residents for allotments on both Collyer Road and Bonner Lane sites.

This is an ideal way to keep fit and provide yourself with freshly grown produce at a fraction of the price and something the whole family can be involved in.

There will be several plots available of varying sizes in both locations, details available from the Parish Council Office.

Collyer Road allotments also have 2 raised beds for residents who are either wheelchair bound or have mobility/mental health issues and would benefit from use of a raised bed at an annual cost of £5 per raised bed.
